If you want to increase the odds of success for your marriage, turn to God. Let Him reconstruct your hearts, and in the words of Les & Leslie Parrot in When Bad Things Happen to Good Marriages, do it ‘until amends are made, and forgiveness and love flow through your marriage every day, no matter what.’ God’s got a better way! But it will mean change, for both of us, but not the kind we expect or demand. It’s the kind we give. |
