Each new thing learned about God is a new reason for loving him. Can we imagine anyone saying, provided he was really listening to what he was saying: ‘We don’t need to know any more about God or his work; we know enough already for our salvation’? Love of God, as of our fellow men, craves knowledge and is fed by it. |
