Dear Lord,
During this month of November, we bring before you drug addicts and victims of every form of dependence. Father, may victims of drugs and other dependencies truly experience the support of the Christian community. There, may they find in the power of our saving God strength for a radical life-change. We know that you love all of your children, Father.
We also pray for the missionary work throughout every country in Latin America. May the churches of Latin America be blessed as they move ahead with the continent-wide mission encouraged by their bishops. Father, this is part of the missionary task of the People of God throughout the world. Bless it abundantly!
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
