It’s illogical to suggest that the Bible alone is the authority when the Bible alone can’t give to us what books are and aren’t to be included in the Bible. How could it? If revelation included a list of every single book to be included, we would only be able to trust that if we knew that revelation itself was inspired. But no book can confirm or authenticate its own inspired status. |
