The overflowing grandeur of this Trinitarian understanding of man and history as being rooted in a God who gives us being, who treats us as his children, and who invites us to love the world passionately contrasts with the vision our Western societies usually offer us. There is so much fear of the future to be seen in them! So many specific fears, and also undefined ones! So much fear hidden behind an idolatrous, ever-expanding cult of ideology, of sex, of image, of the nation! |
