The basic attitude a human being toward God, their creator, and redeemer. The moral virtue of religion expresses itself in adoration and wholehearted service to our loving God.
It is also used to designate a system of beliefs and practices which have reference to man's relation with God.
Man's first need is to know who and what God is; why we are here; where we are going. The function of religion is to offer an explanation on these points and to direct and help man to achieve this purpose.
Man must worship God with all his faculties and acts.
Religion, therefore, must of its very nature penetrate into every phase of man's life, since man nature is necessarily related to God his creator.
