Wisdom from St. Thomas Aquinas

In order to be a good apologist, you must be interested in and conversant in everything. That may sound a bit broad to you, and I don’t mean by ‘everything’ that you know every particular detail of everything. But for St. Thomas, if you’re going to be a good apologist, a good defender of Christianity, the first thing you’re going to have to do is to be able to see God present in everything…. In order to offer a defense of Christianity, you have to be prepared to show how everything in human experience, everything in this world, if correctly understood, will come together to the glory of God.
